Cheetah Girls

The last time animal print went out of style (2009?), I said I would never wear it again. A few years ago, when animal print was definitely not the mainstream, I worked in marketing for a pillow & cushion manufacturer. It was a small company, so Marketing had a hand in product design. Without fail, someone would suggest animal print designs every few months. I shook my head, vetoed the idea and re-vowed to never endorse it again.

Flash forward…it’s baaaaaack and I’m loving it! I have three cheetah print looks to share in this post! Unfortunately, I don’t recommend turning these pieces into any sort of two-piece set😂

Cheetah Blouse

This lightweight, bell sleeve top is the purrrfect cheetah-print option for so many occasions. I threw this on with jeans and ankle boots one Friday when it was still chilly out, and was able to wear it to the office and then out for date night with Matt after work. But you could just as easily wear it with shorts or a skirt into Spring and Summer.

The print is great, more of an authentic brown and black cheetah print that has a classic over fun vibe. The fit is meant to be oversized and I was so comfy in the small. The adjustable tie detail in the front allows you to make the blouse tighter or looser depending on your preference. With the oversized fit and adjustability, you could even tie it to make it longer in the front and wear it casually with a pair of leggings & slip-on sneakers. It is long enough in the back to cover your booty.

Cheetah Shorts

I am obsessed with these cheetah-print shorts because I literally feel like a member of the Cheetah Girls wearing them. Fierce!

You know how some styles that are the cutest aren’t not necessarily comfortable? It’s the exact opposite with these shorts. They are such a soft material and an oversized fit. But still such a statement piece. I paired them with a plain black racerback tank, wedges and a gold necklace and looked instantly put together. The high waist cut and tie detail are the cutest!

These shorts could also be worn as a more casual look depending on the top, shoes and accessories you choose. The bottom line is you are going to look cute no matter how you wear them. I feel like it’s impossible to look bad in these shorts because they are so flattering.

The Pink Lily Boutique is currently sold out of these shorts but they will be restocked in April. Click the picture below to sign up for a restock alert so you don’t miss out when they come back. Before purchasing, use this link to shop with my referral code and get $10 off your order!

Cheetah Tunic

This charcoal cheetah print tunic is my new go-to throw on with leggings to lounge around the house or run errands. It’s not a sweater but the material kind of feels lightweight-sweater-esque. Pieces like this you can wear all year round as a liesure outfit – or even as pajamas if you want! It’s that comfy. I foresee some travel days in this top.

The fit is extra oversized with great length in the back and the front. I ordered the small and have lots of room. You could maybe even size down on this top, depending how you want it to fit.
